The Penguin Play Awards Ultimate Guide!

Hey Penguins! The Penguin Play Awards (PPA) has returned to Club Penguin, celebrating its second annual visit! The Penguin Play Awards is an event that comes every year to award Club Penguin’s best plays. We got to vote on Club Penguin’s “What’s New” page to see which plays will be selected for us to vote on (click here if you missed it)! Last year’s awards were a HUGE hit! Club Penguin got over about 12,000,000 votes! Whatever play wins the most will return right after the Penguin Play Awards leave, since it is the most voted/favorite out of all Club Penguin Citizens have voted.

This year, the top 5 plays we voted for are: Squidzoid VS Shadow Guy & Gamma Gal, Ruby and the Ruby, Underwater Adventure, Quest for the Golden Puffle, and Fairy Fables. If you want to vote on your favorite play for this year’s Penguin Play Awards, Log on Club Penguin, Open your Map, Click the Plaza, and go to the Voting Booth on the far left (close to the entrance into the snow forts).

Click on the Voting Booth (follow the arrow on the picture above) and after clicking “Continue” on the first sign that says, “Vote for your favorite play in each category,” you should see this voting ballot shown bellow:

With this, you can cast your vote on the Top 5 plays that are given, and whichever one you pick, it will count as your vote, and Club Penguin can count it for whatever subject you voted for! The categories to vote on are:

• Best Play (The script – This counts as everything the play is/has!)
• Best Costume (The design of the outfit for each character – Does it match their personality?)
• Best Music (How it sounds)
• Best Effects (How it looks – Does it match the theme?)
• Best Set (How it looks)

Once you are done voting, click the “Submit” button and X out of the Voting Booth! Now, it’s time to check out what is inside the stage (what the Penguin Play Awards looks like)! Check it out! Looks the same as last year’s, but it still looks BEAUTIFUL! I feel like I am actually at the Oscar’s, Emmy’s, or the Grammy Awards, except virtual (and involving penguins)! Haha!

Again, it looks AMAZING! Inside the stage (Penguin Play Awards), when the screen is done with the Penguin Play Award’s introduction, letting you watch the beauty of the trophy, you can see each play’s video, showing you the music, and reminding you what it was about (the setting)! And, it may remind you of what the play had for each subject for voting (you’d might want to come here before you make a positive vote, just so you can have a little “refresher!” As you can see, there is a “Backstage” sign…guess where that leads you to! Haha! This is the Backstage, the place where you could hang out before and after plays, and before and after the Awards! Check it out:

Here’s a secret: You see the microphone? You can pull it up and down by clicking it with your mouse, also, watch for levers, screens, light switches, buttons, and cameras in there! You can do stuff with them too! I think Club Penguin should just keep this as a room forever in the stage…except when there’s a play/event, they decorate it that theme! What do you think? I believe that only members can visit this room (again…sorry non-member penguins! Ask your guardian if you could become a member). As you can see, there are two free items in that room: the Penguin Play Award, and the Video Camera! To get them, just go to the table on the bottom left corner to the table with the “FREE” sign for the trophy (Penguin Play Award), and go to the bin with the “FREE” sign near the exit by the black corner couch for the Recording Camera (the Video Camera)! The Video Camera is actually a new item this year (Non-Members: If you really like this, either ask to be a member from your guardian, or just hope for a miracle that next year they will have this free item for you guys, and have a new free item to replace the old one! That should at least work out, right?

Aren’t they awesome? But hey, are those all the free items? NOPE! It’s just the beginning! Non-members, if you really want a free item, your in luck! There is one more free item for everyone this time at the dock! So, leave the Stage/Backstage, click on your Map, and go to the Dock! And there it is, near the Hydro Hopper Boat, a bin with a “FREE” sign that contains the free item, which is  Press Hat! Cool! This hat is good for you to interview anyone you like! Since as you can see when you go to the Dock, there are two chairs where you could interview any penguin – even your buddy if you’d like! It looks pretty cool on your playercard…anyways back to the subject! So, PICK IT UP when you have the opportunity (now)!

The Press Hat looks pretty sweet…don’t you think? I love how its cool, and it’s FREE! 🙂

And those are all the cheats! But guess what, this isn’t all, actually. This year, Club Penguin has added several rooms decorated for this special event. Last year, it was only the front of the stage, and inside the stage! So make sure you check out those places, such as the Dock (even if you got the free item, it doesn’t mean you can’t hang out and do the cool things Club Penguin has added in there), Pizza Parlor (looks like a very fancy, elegant restaurant), or the Ski Hill (pretty much another interview place…the interviewing places are only the Dock, Ski Hill, and Backstage..haha don’t worry, the whole Club Penguin isn’t full of that, haha)! Also, Aunt Arctic, DJ Cadence, Penguin Band, and maybe even Gary (Sorry guys, not Sensei…imagine him being all fancy and party-ish! Hahaha!), the most famous penguins in Club Penguin, would be visiting for you guys to be able to meet them, and if you do, receive their autograph! Remember: They will only visit the Backstage, and the inside of the Stage ONLY, since this is a Penguin Play Awards event! 😉 We’ll give you more tips/cheats about this later! 😉 So what do you think about the Awards so far? BestCPSecret’s Number One Guide for Puffle Rescue!

After a long time of waiting, Club Penguin’s new game, Puffle Rescue is now HERE at the Mine! This game is like a maze..it reminds me of Thin Ice, Cart Surfer, and Aqua Grabber all combined into one! To get to the caves:

1. Open your map.

2. Go to the Mine Shack.

3. Walk Inside the Mine Shack.

4. Now you are at the Mine!

Right next to the entrance of the Mine Cave, you will see a bulletin board. Click on that, and you will now be playing “Puffle Rescue!” There are 3 missions of the Puffle Rescue.  You have the option to either rescue blue puffles, pink and purple puffles, or black puffles! But, only members are aloud to rescue the Black puffles, and the Pink and Purple Puffles (awwww)! But the best game to play first if you want to unlock the door in the second cave (the room after the Mine Cave) is the Black Puffle one. Here is how to play the game:

Use your Up, Down, Left, and Right arrow keys on your keyboard to control which way your rescue penguin will move. Move successfully onto the right path, and don’t take a wrong turn or you’d drown in the water! Your goal is to save the puffles. Now you should start to play. As soon as you start playing and capture a puffle, You would get this message:

Now that you know how to play, X out of the Instructions and click the Black Puffle picture to play that one so you could unlock the door in the second cave in the mine. (The Black Puffle rescuing, again, is only for members. I’m sorry nonmembers, I know how you feel! Maybe you can ask your parents if you could become a member?) Because every time you would try to get through without a key, it would always show this message at the door:

The answer for “But watch out for”, is octopus. They will sting you every time you’re near their legs (isn’t it supposed to be jellyfish…? Comment if you agree), so be careful! Now, start the game and rescue the first black puffle. Then, wait for the Squid’s shadow to appear in the background. Follow the Squid when he appears. While following him, pop all bubbles on the way to help you from drowning and losing a life, causing you to start over and wait for the squid again.

Keep following the squid until it leads you to coral reefs, which you will then have a secret entrance into the Underwater Room! Take your opportunity now instead of starting over or never getting the key and GO IN THE STAIRS! Once you go in, you would then end the game, and you would be in the room! Waddle to the right, and you will see the Moss Key! To end your confusion, that IS the key to let you in that door! Waddle to it and click “Yes!” You now have your own key/pin to go into the door! Congratulations!

This is so cool! You unlocked everything, like the room AND the key/pin, and it was THAT simple to do! ALL IN LEVEL 1! Wow! This new room we unlocked HAS to be my favorite! It makes you feel like your actually in the water…by the fish and EVERYTHING ELSE like that! Here’s a cheat: Throw a snowball in the air, it will become a BUBBLE floating until it pops! 😉 So anyways, what do you think about this game?
